The cycle tour along the Bornholm coast is the shortest of the national routes, but we recommend that you spend a few days covering the 105 kilometers. There is much to experience on the rock island, which is to be the world's first energy island – a hub for intelligent green energy. You can look forward to culinary experiences, handicrafts, museums, ruins, lovely beaches and fantastic nature.

Between Rønne and Hasle lies Sorthat with the lakes Safirsøen and Smaragdsøen – two former clay pits in a beautiful natural area. In Grønbechs Gård, you can see outstanding local, Danish and international handicrafts during the summer. Hammershus, on the northern tip of the island, is Northern Europe's largest castle ruin, built on a 70 meter high rock knoll, probably in the 13th century.

This stage is located in the Bornholm Regional Municipality.

Helligdomsklipperne are up to 20 meters high, and in the summer, you can enjoy a boat trip from Gudhjem to the cliffs. If you have the time, you can also sail to Christiansø Nature Park, where nature, wildlife and the fortress from 1684 are protected. At Saltuna, the narrow Echo Valley starts – it is fun to test where the echo is best.

At the smokehouses in Aarsdale and Svaneke you can taste the smoked herring that Bornholm is famous for. The beach in Dueodde is as famous as the herring: kilometers of fine, white sand. Other good beaches on the stage are Hullehavn and Balka. Nexø is the island's second largest city, and if you feel like hiking, a trip to the Paradisbakkerne is a beautiful choice.

Northern Europe's longest wooden bridge crossing open sea is 180 meters long and connects the harbor and coast in Arnager. Make time for a museum or two in Rønne: Hjorts Fabrik is an active ceramics museum, and the Bornholm Museum conveys the island's cultural history. Also recommended is the protected Erichsens Gård from the beginning of the 19th century.

This stage is located in the Bornholm Regional Municipality.
