EuroVelo route 7 cuts through the centre of Europe, from the Barents Sea in northern Sweden to the southern tip of Sicily. In Denmark, EuroVelo 7 follows Denmark's national cycle route 9, from Helsingør on Zealand to Gedser on Falster. Here you will experience 305 kilometres of coastline and contrasts. From peaceful nature areas to the metropolis of Copenhagen. From North Zealand's spa hotels and Kronborg Castle, made famous by Shakespears Hamlet, to South Zealand's holiday resorts and the cliffs of Møn. From UNESCO World Heritage sites, both cultural and natural, to art experiences, the story of the long Cold War and some of Denmark's best beaches.

The Renaissance castle Kronborg in Elsinore is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as is the par force hunting landscape in Store Dyrehave, Gribskov Forest and Jægersborg Deer Park. Towards the centre of Copenhagen, the route leads in long stretches through Copenhagen's fashionable northern suburbs along Strandvejen.
