It is the country's largest fjord area with a unique birdlife, small islands and lovely beaches with plenty of opportunities for water sports. A scenic and varied stage with several swimming opportunities as well as culture at both ends of the stage: Thisted Lilleby with over 90 houses is a miniature version of the town in 1950, and Fjerritslev Brewery and Regional Museum is a beer brewery from the late 1800s. Take a break on the dam between Østerby and Bjerget: from here you can see Ulvedybet, where many ducks and waders roost. The view is also great from Gjøl Bjerg, 17 meters above sea level. The stage runs north and south of Langerak with a ferry trip between Hals and Egense. Take a break in Hals with remnants of an ancient fort and nice bathing beaches. In Aalborg, the new harbour front is known for its great architecture. If you want to shorten the bike ride, you can cycle over the Limfjord Bridge.
